High Fashion Designer Christian Siriano stands for diversity in fashion and a positive body awareness. For his fashion show „people are people“ at the Fashion Week New York models with all kinds of different body types and skin colors walked the runway.
Lush shades of gold, rose and red-brown dominate the dresses, pantsuits, overalls and evening gowns of his autumn-winter collection 2017/18. Materials like velvet and silk caress the body contours and emphasize the feminine silhouette.
To highlight the message „people are people“, Siriano created a t-shirt showcasing the statement in bold letters. A model wears it combined with a floor-lenght, elegant skirt.
Some may remember the designer from the american tv-show ‚Project Runway‘ where he won the contest in 2008.
