It’s been a while since anything has happened in the onlineshop Carmakoma. Fans of the danish plus size label waited for the autmn/winter collection in vain.On September 18th Fashion United finally reported that the danish clothing concern Bestseller Group took over the brand Carmakoma. Other members of the concern are the curvy label Junarose and well-known brands like Vero Moda and Jack & Jones.
According to Fashion United Carmakoma will be integrated into the fashion label Only. Popular for its’ fashion for women. The first collection by Only Carmakoma is expected in January 2018.
Carmakoma itself already exists since 2008. How far the scandinavian founders and designers Angelica Weiss and Heidie Lykke are working for the new label Only Carmakoma is not yet known. We are looking forward to finding out if the minimalistic design of Angelica and Heidie will be kept in the new concept.
